Heard recently posted a photo of the training routine that’s getting her into superhero shape, and the results are nothing short of incredible.

On April 26, Heard posted a photo of herself working out to Instagram, displaying her toned abs while doing a plank exercise and supporting her upper body on rings suspended in mid-air.
This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that Amber’s shared the latest insight into her workout routine. On April 6, she posted a photo of herself lifting dumbbells outdoors while a friend’s daughter looked on. “Meet my travel-sized personal trainer,” she captioned the adorable pic.

While Heard has admitted to working out “five hours a day”to get in shape for her Aquaman role—focusing on weight training and martial arts exercises—she says that when she’s off the clock, her typical workout is running.
“I like running because it’s a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus. Plus, I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it’s invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am,” she told Shape.
In an interview with Women’s Health, Heard admitted that she’s a major proponent of sticking to foods and ingredients she recognizes and can pronounce. “You feel better when you’re eating food that retains nutritional value,” she explained. The Justice League star also revealed that, even with a jam-packed schedule, she prefers cooking for herself so she can be certain of what’s going into her food.

While Heard may stick to a healthy diet for the most part, she doesn’t deprive herself of her favorite foods, which include chocolate and Tex-Mex.
“If you’re not going to enjoy life, there’s no point in eating a certain way and working out and doing all the things actors do to manipulate how we look—and how the world looks at us,” she told Shape.
