There’s nothing more healthy and indulgent than a warm bowl of porridge. However, most of us love the sweet quotient of porridges, which is not always a great deal, if you are planning to lose weight.
To make this easy porridge, take 1 ½ cup almond milk in a saucepan and allow it to boil at low flame, then add in ½ cup oats, keep stirring.
In the meantime, soak and chop 1 cup of dried figs, then add this to the almond milk and oats, keep stirring until the porridge appears to be cooked. Add in a dash of cinnamon and transfer the porridge to a bowl and top it with dried figs, nuts and raisins. If you want to make it more nutritious pair it with some fresh fruits like apples and banana.
