I strongly believe that if someone is really fixated on making the change, nothing can stop them.

Setting small, achievable goals also help. This really helps you stay on track and not lose focus. One also needs to do things for themselves, take initiative and track progress to see the changes.

What’s the most difficult part of being overweight?

The hardest part of being overweight for me was not the health problems, but suffering from low self-esteem, and having dozens of people, some who consider close to you, for that matter crack jokes on you. Only those who have been there know how embarrassing and downright demotivating it can feel.

What’s the shape you see yourself 10 years down the lane?

I am happier with the results I have achieved right now, and by God’s grace, I would like to remain just like this for the rest of my life.

What are the lifestyle changes you made? As a youngster, I used to eat a lot of junk food, chocolates, soft drinks, bread and icecreams- basically all the unhealthy stuff. This is one thing I completely ditched out from my diet and it really did make a difference!
