A woman near Boston says she feels more confident than ever after dropping four dress sizes through Slimming World.
Charlie McGregor, who lives in Kirton, was desperate for change after getting out of breath just by playing with her kids.
The 38-year-old decided to take the plunge and despite suffering from anxiety, she signed up to Slimming World – taking part in a virtual group during lockdown.
She ditched the McDonald’s breakfasts and Indian takeaways in favour of Slimming World equivalents.
And within her first week she lost an amazing 10lbs – and she hasn’t looked back.

She said: “I love how you are not restricted on what you can eat, but it helps you to eat it in moderation. I have had a number of challenges to overcome like binge eating.
“I would go all day without eating a thing and then at night I would eat everything I could get my hands on.
“Breaking that at the beginning was so hard as it was a massive habit.”
She added: “I also hated doing any form of exercise due to lack of confidence and low self-esteem. I always thought I would be laughed at.
“But then I started walking then that walk became longer and faster till I decided to do the couch to 5k and I now run three times a week.”
Charlie has now lost an incredible four stone and 10llbs as well as going down four dress sizes She says that weight loss has left her feeling great in everything she does.
She said: “I can run and play with my kids without being out of breath. I go to the gym without feeling totally out of place.
“As silly as it sounds I can fit and wear clothes I thought I would never be able to fit in and feel confident doing so.”
She says it has also improved her health both physically and mentally.
She said: “I suffer with psoriasis and at my biggest in May it was getting very bad.
“Now it’s under some sort of control and I believe that’s to do with what I’m eating now as well as the fact I have less stress and anxiety about myself.”
